We want to design an original, exclusive personal wedding website. Do you offer exclusive designs for personal wedding websites?

Yes, we do. We can create for-you-only designs.

We will also help you source visuals (we use top professional photo sources like Fotolia), or you can send us photo’s which should be 1 MB or less in size. The photos should be of an excellent quality … clear, with excellent focus, lighting and composition.

You can also choose which categories to show on your website: e.g. if you don’t want a ‘Master of Ceremonies’ page it can be taken out.

It is easy to order exclusive designs: simply tick the box on the subscription form. We will contact you to discuss your requirements.

We offer two options:

1. Temporary exclusive designs These wedding websites are created for your personal use till one month after your wedding date. After that we make it available to other clients. You will have had it first. You will have exclusive use of it from the moment you ordered it until 30 days after your wedding date, and no-one else will be allowed to use your personal wedding website design in this period
2. Permanently exclusive designs These wedding website are created only for you. Nobody will use it after you.

What does exclusive designs for a personal wedding website price?

For a temporary design the fee is R2500. The basic fees for monthly hosting still applies .

For a permanent exclusive design the fee is R5000. The basic fees for monthly hosting still applies.

How do we get a personal wedding website with an exclusive design? You simply tick the appropriate box on the subscription form. We’ll contact you to sort out the detail.

In the meantime do research the pics, quotes and ideas you would like to incorporate.

What preparation do we need to do for our exclusively designed wedding website?

Yes, please do take the initiative and be as creative and innovative as you like! Although we have to keep within certain website design specifications we want to create something as near as possible to your vision. So tell us what you want. Remember a pic speaks a thousand words? The more pics you send us, the better. We use Fotolia. You can register with them free of charge and make a selection among their millions of professional photo’s. (You’ll possibly get carried away! (We do.) It works best to limit yourself to a color scheme or theme, and then choose say 20 photo’s. Don’t buy these photo’s right then. We’ll buy it because we need to choose the correct sizes. Simply load them into your trolley, or note down their identification codes. We will go search for them at Fotolia.

If you do not have the hours or patience to seek out pics, we’ll do it. You only need to give us your colour scheme and your wedding theme or two or three other ideas for themes. We will then select a small file of approximately 20 pics for you to choose from.

How do you really proceed?

Creating your own exclusive wedding website with us is not a one-sided process. You are very much part of the process. This does take a few minutes, some deep thought and a bit of effort form your side. BUT the satisfaction you will get out of your hands-on approach will make it worthwhile!  Here is how to have your exclusive website designed:

2. We will reply with a brief - a worksheet you complete to tell us exactly what you have in mind. The brief will cover the following:

the names to appear on your opening page

 the website address you require

a personal quote on your opening page

the style, theme and colours for your website

photos and picture elements you want included, sourced with a stock photo agency like Fotolia.com

 the lay-out you prefer

 the menu pages you want - the number and specific titles

your RSVP page, accommodating up to 5 adaptations so that you can gather information from your guests like their main course choice, details needed for plane tickets, and other special requests.

3. When you are ready email it back to us. We will then phone you back to sort out all the final detail.

4. Upon payment of 50% of the fee (R1250 for a temporary exclusive design, or R2500 for a permanent exclusive design) we proceed creating your website.

5. We then make your website available to you, allowing a week for changes and tweaking.

6. Upon final payment (R1250 again, or R2500) the password is released, and you  proceed  with your website.

Temporary exclusive designs

One month after your wedding date the website design is released as a general template. This does not affect your website at all. It merely means that other couples may now also choose that specific design.

Permanent exclusive designs

These are never made available to other clients. It remains your once-off design.

Extras

We can also design save-the-date e-cards and e-invites to match your website theme and colours, using your wording.

If you need paper printing for menu's and thank you cards we recommend that you work with a graphic designer near you. This means that you will see and feel the paper as it really is - much more practical than choosing over the Internet. We will make the design elements available, so your designer can use them. 

However, if you do prefer us to handle this for you we will do so gladly - the fee depending on your location and specifications.

Will other people use my exclusive wedding website design?

It depends on your exclusivity option. Temporary exclusive designs are yours exclusively till 30 days after your wedding date. After that it is made available to our general customers. Permanently exclusive designs are never made available to other couples.

When do we pay for the design of our exclusive wedding website?

Just as with our other services the full amount is payable in advance. Our web page designer requires advance payment from us.
