What is a template?

Designing a wedding website form scratch is a costly, time-consuming job … particularly if you want advanced features such as an on-line rsvp, on-line guestbook, photo-album and a beautiful homepage.

It makes sense to use a template - a basic website fully equipped with all the features for which different ‘looks’ or variations can be chosen. Different colour schemes, different lay-outs, different designs, different quotes Templates give you the full luxury of a highly advanced website at minimal cost.

(You’re also able to upload more photo’s onto your frontpage so that you can keep on changing how your website looks!)

Also note that you will have the full choice of templates available on your website. You don’t choose once and have to keep that look. You can change your look anytime, instantly and without any further costs by simply toggling the themes and homepage buttons on your website. And you won’t loose any information, either!

We started out with a template but now our wedding theme changed and we want another template. Can we change, or do we have to sign up again?

Yes you can change – without signing up or paying again!

Simply go to your website and log in. A menu will pop up (at the top corner) which allows you to choose your homepage look. You’ll also note a template chooser on your menu. By varying the combination of homepage and template you can choose any look you like.

When changing your look you won’t loose any information, either!

Hint: Also try out the ‘no pictue’ option – it works surprisingly well

We would prefer a different template form the one we were assigned. How do we get our first choice?

Change, please, please, please! We have to be practical when we set up your website. Therefore we generically assign you a look. But this is by no means final. You have the absolute say about your wedding website look!

We want to change our wedding website look. Will we have to load text and pics again?

No. Your website was designed to keep your photos and text intact. You can change as many times as you like without losing a single item!

What other uses can I get from my template?

You can use it as a guide for you wedding décor, wedding themes, wedding invitations, printed wedding program, etc. It is easy to compile themes and combine colours if you are a graphic artist. But if you feel somewhat unsure the colours of your wedding website is an excellent, easy starting point.

We love the angel sculpture ons your jakaranda theme and would love to use it on our wedding program. How do we get it?

The material on OurWeddingPage.co.za is copywrited, and the photos are the property of internationally recognized professional photographers. This means we need permission to reproduce visual material – which we can get you.

Contact us with your request and we will e-mail the requested picture to you at R100 per picture.

Please note that you are limited to private use. You are more than welcome to use these pics for your wedding invitations, thank you notes, menu, wedding program, serviettes, etc. BUT you are not allowed to use it commercially or to make it available to anyone else to use it commercially. In other words you may not receive money or goods in exchange for these visuals.
